Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown from non-genetically modified plants without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Instead, farmers rely on crop rotation, composting, and natural pest management to maintain soil health and biodiversity. By prioritizing regenerative agricultural practices and responsible water use, organic cotton supports healthier ecosystems while producing a breathable, durable natural fiber known for its softness and versatility.
The cotton comes from Turkey
Organic cotton is grown from non-genetically modified seeds without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Farmers rely on crop rotation, compost, cover crops, and natural pest control methods to maintain soil fertility and reduce pest pressure.
After harvesting, the cotton is ginned to separate fibers from seeds, spun into yarn, woven or knitted into fabric, and finished. For cotton to be considered truly organic at the textile level, processing facilities must also limit toxic chemicals and follow strict environmental and social standards (depending on certification).
No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, reducing soil and water contamination
Improved soil health through regenerative practices like crop rotation
Lower risk to farmworker health due to reduced chemical exposure
Often associated with better water management practices compared to conventional cotton

Why we chose to use it
We chose organic cotton because it reconnects one of the world’s most familiar fibers to healthier agricultural systems. By eliminating synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, it supports soil regeneration, biodiversity, and safer conditions for farmers — shifting cotton back toward a more responsible origin.
For us, it’s about pairing comfort with consciousness. Organic cotton offers the breathability and durability people already love, while aligning with our commitment to materials grown with greater care for the land and the communities behind them.
