Organic Cotton Produce Bag

Garments traditionally come wrapped in a polyester or plastic bags that are thrown away. At Terratela we’re obsessed with purpose. Our garments come packaged in an organic cotton produce bag to be reused time and time again.

These cotton produce bags are made using bio-degradable natural fibers so the impact on the environment is significantly reduced and they don’t cause any issues for ocean-dwelling marine life.

When you receive your Terratela garment, please repurpose this bag in place of plastic bags for grocery shopping. You’ll be the most stylish shopper at the farmers’ market.

Terratela Tissue Paper

You may have not noticed but all clothing you buy online ships with tissue paper folded inside the garment. The tissue helps to reduce wrinkles and reduce shifting during transportation.

Our paper is FSC certified and made with 30% recycled materials.

When you receive our Terratela product, reuse our tissue paper in your next trip (folded between your clothes to prevent wrinkles), or compost it back to earth.

Soy Based Inks

Most fashion companies use cheap, petroleum-based ink for printing. The process of recycling paper that has petroleum-based ink is harsh, using more energy to wash away the ink.

We use eco-friendly and compostable soy ink which leaves no chemical residues behind, allowing all our packaging to be recycled and composted. The dyes used for our Terratela packaging is soy-based and made from renewable soybeans mixed with additional environmentally-friendly waxes and resins. It degrades four times faster than petroleum-based inks.
