Cozy meets conscious in the new Terratela sweater collection. Made with our signature SeaFibe™ yarn - we've taking an FSC certified bamboo yarn and blended it with Seacell™ (seaweed) yarn for the perfect transitional weather sweaters.

A timeless silhouette, redefined. This is the classic cardigan you know and love — elevated with a subtle, seaweed-inspired cable design that nods to the ocean origins of our SeaFibe™ fiber. It’s a quiet statement piece: familiar in shape, unexpected in detail. Plus, our buttons are made using seized cigarette butts. No waste here.

Our sweaters are proudly made-to-order in Brooklyn, NY. Further strengthening our commitment to reducing waste. Once your order is placed, please allow 7-9 days for your garment to be knit before it's shipped to you.

  • Regular Men's Sizing
  • Knit using a seamless technology for extreme comfort with an elevated look
  • Chunkier gauge but knit a little looser so it's still light and breathable
Fabric + Care
  • 30% Seacell™, 70% Bamboo Viscose
  • We use Seacell™ fiber, made by sustainably harvesting brown algae from Icelandic fjords. This is crushed into a powder and blended with Eucalyptus trees in a closed-loop process. Learn more about the process on our SeaFibe™ page.
  • Our bamboo is FSC certified, harvested from sustainably sourced forests
  • Machine Wash Cold, Lay Flat to Dry
  • Due to the nature of this knit, sweaters may stretch out during wear but go back to original shape when washed/dried properly
Sustainability Impact
  • Seaweed helps capture carbon dioxide from our atmosphere - up to 20x more carbon is captured by seaweed per acre than land forests
  • Seaweed does not require fresh water or fertilizers to grow and will grow at a faster rate than most land based plants - with some species growing as much as 2 feet per day
  • Seacell™ is made using a closed-loop process that recycles water and repurposes the solvents used in production
  • We only harvest the top part of the seaweed that can naturally regenerate - our seaweed is USDA certified organic and untreated
  • FSC Certified Bamboo yarns grow without any pesticides. Bamboo is a renewable resource and one of the fastest growing plants in the world.
  • Our buttons are made from seized and repurposed cigarette butts

Orders are typically processed within 2-3 business days. Sweaters are made-to-order and take 7-9 days to knit.

Return/Exchange Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your Terratela purchase, you may send it back to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the original ship date. Items must have original packaging and tags to be eligible. All items marked Final Sale cannot be returned.
